St Martin Island, the only coral reef at the southernmost in the country of Bangladesh, has been created by the numerous coral reefs in the Bay of Bengal. The dazzling light of the blue water in the sea and rows of coconut trees give the island superfluous attractiveness.
St. Martin’s is a place of natural beauty. The blue of the sky and the blue of the sea are there with a solitary, boat on the beach, rows of aesthetic coconut trees and a gentle breeze make a rhythm of the waves – a small attempt to illustrate the beauty of the island of St. Martin of Bangladesh. St. Martin’s is a unique vacation destination for thirsty people, with knowledge of sand, rocks, corals or biodiversity. Best Time To Visit
September to March are popular—and busy. If you want to see the beauty of nature, come mid-August to early November. You’ll find better deals and quieter crowds from March to September.
Transportation
To get to St. Martin, you must first take a bus from Dhaka to Teknaf. Then take a ship that sails from the Teknaf shipyard to St. Martin. You can book a ship ticket from Dhaka or get a ticket from the shipyard. In that case, it cannot be possible to confirm a seat on the ship.

Food
The most famous thing on this island is the dub(green coconut). The island is not named Narikel Gingera without any cause. The green coconuts (dub) water here is as sweet as delicious. When it comes to St Martin’s, it won’t be fair to miss the dub(green coconut) water.
There are many restaurants around the shipyard for St. Martin’s to eat. Besides, you will find many restaurants near North Beach. Whatsoever resort will you arrive at, If you tell them you are taking a meal from the resort, then they will prepare meals for you. In the food menu, in the morning you will find an egg with kedgeree, egg with Paratha, at noon and night you will find rice with chicken curry, different types of marine fish fries and pulses. However, we did not like the taste of the food there. There is a restaurant in North Beach where you can eat, the food is good and the taste is good.
Those who don’t eat fish, I think, have no right to go to St. Martin. Because of the taste of coral, beautiful poa, hilsa, rupchanda, lobster, kalachandra is In a word it is remarkable.
If you want to have a bar BBQ party at night, you must book in advance at the restaurant or resort. In that case, they will collect the fish of your choice and prepare the necessary items from the market. Come to St. Martin and be sure to eat different types of sea fish fries. Because sitting at the beach and test fresh fish fry and watching the sea will give you a different feeling.
Accommodation
If staying at St Martin’s at night you need to book your accommodation from Dhaka, otherwise, it will be tough to get a good place to stay. You can get a good room by booking at least a month in advance. There is a navy resort to stay in St. Martin’s. Moreover, many local cottages can now be rented there.

- Make sure you visit Chera dwip (Island) when you come to St. Martin.
